Transforming wellness into a connected, sustainable experience

Body enSoul is a personal training brand built to reflect both physical strength and inner balance. The founder wanted to move away from the standard “hardcore fitness” aesthetic and create something more authentic, grounded in values, and visually distinct, with a particular emphasis on the colour purple and the symbolism of personal growth.

  • The project began with a deep client conversation, where I explored her goals, values, and vision for the business. She was clear on wanting to be different: not just another trainer, but someone who empowered clients through connection, spirituality, and strength. This conversation informed the research stage — looking at fitness industry trends, behavioural insights into what motivates people to commit to personal training, and how colour psychology influences consumer connection.

    Purple, her non-negotiable, became the anchor point. My research validated that purple could embody both empowerment and spirituality — two pillars of her brand. With this alignment, I started sketching concepts that fused strength and spirituality, integrating the Ulmone symbol for “journey” into the design through flowing lines and dots.

  • From multiple logo directions, the founder selected one that truly resonated. This evolved into a visual identity system, with a primary mark, supporting symbols, and custom iconography. I selected Saira as the typeface for its balance of modernity and approachability, and crafted a colour palette that reinforced empowerment and warmth.

    Unused sketches were reimagined into patterns and icons, adding consistency across brand touchpoints. The result was a flexible “brand family” that could grow with her business, while remaining accessible for a one-person operation.

  • The brand gave Body enSoul a professional identity that reflected both the founder’s personality and her values. It set her apart from local competition by creating a holistic story rather than relying on generic fitness tropes. Beyond the visuals, the work gave her the confidence to step away from her gym and launch independently.

    To support this transition, I also created launch collateral, business cards, flyers, and a short video that introduced her new brand. This helped position Body enSoul not just as another personal trainer, but as a distinct, values-driven offering with a unique journey at its core.
